Mystical Place
The West Coast Trail was probably one of the darkest forests I have hiked. The canopy is so dense it barely lets the light through. As you neared the coast a rays of light would pierce through the fog and warm light would shine through. It always brought a smile to your face and an energy in your step after a long day carrying a 40 pound pack.
